68 skylark vert, i have put my own top on. turned out pretty good(my opinion), the rear 1/4 windows have a good size gap between the top and the glass. i have adjusted the windows all that is adjustable. should i loosen the top frame and adjust it to fit the windows? thanks jerry :Do No:

When you say you adjusted it all the way do you mean both the top travel stop and the lean in, lean out adjustment? If so is there an issue with the condition of a roller?

Did you install new top rail rubber seals?

If not, your old ones are dry-rotted and have shrunk.

If you have a gap between the top of the glass and the bottom
of the rubber seals...your upper stops are not adjusted correctly.

If someone has removed them prior to you....they could have been installed upside down which limit the window movement in the "up" position to be in the "short" position. Check out the stops to make sure they are in the correct orientation.....the stops should be above the adjustment screw and not below.........I found this out the hard way when working on a couple of cars.
