Shorty Console Pad Issue

I was told that the reproduction shortly console top pad was not made correctly. I bought one from CARS and it fits perfectly. The pleats look right and seems to follow the contor correctly. Last thing will be installing the tri shield emblem. The one thing was, it was easier to use regular trim screws instead of the original machine screws.

 

Please post some pictures when you get it finished.

Thank you for this update. I resisted buying the reproduction because I heard the same story you did.

I think I will now pull the trigger.

What was the price from CARS?

 

$150.00 plus the ride. Emblem didn't make it yet. I'm like Dano, very fussy, not disappointed.
