Shocks and bearings

    Hi guys,

I have two questions I wanted to fire at you.

I just ordered newfront shocks for my 70 Riv.
Since I am absolutely not a gearhead (unfortunately) I was wondering if this is something I can do myself.
I am worried about the spring that is under a certain tension, which makes it risky to remove.

Can anyone tell me if this is a lot of work and if it can be done without my shop interfering?

The other thing is, I suspect one of my front wheel bearings has puffed out its last breath.

When the car is in motion, you can hear this ticking noise. One jacked up and free from the ground, you don't hear anything anymore when turning the wheel.

I have ordered inner and outer bearings and a new o-ring.

Can I also do this myself, or do I need special equipment to replace it all?
