i am in need of the shifter plate that goes on a automatic console the one that shows p r n d 2 1 anyone out the have it i also need the shifter cable to thanks guys
I think in 67 Skylarks only had 2 speed trans. Only the GS in 67 had a T400 and as I remember the linkage was not a cable, it was a rod and 67 shifter is different from the 65/6 but the console is about the same. Thanks Bill Sangster.
Yes, 67 is rod! Just sold a 67 console and shifter. They were 2 speeds and had a rod linkage. No cable. Jim N.
shifter i have 400 i am putting and i do have a 400 th i guess i should match them up i guess i need a rod then any one have one
you may want to double check the rod I was told the shifters and rods were different on the 2 and 3 speeds in 67.(66 & 65 are different) so I bought a GS400 console ,shifter , rod and they were the same.
Rods Shifters and rod may well be different, but, I am currently using the two speed shifter and linkage on a Th-400 and it works fine. I don't have the window graphic(?) that says D 2 1 and the gate (detent) for Drive is a little off, but it works fine in a driver. Jim
