   My shifter only will go to L2 and I'm off a gear on the indicator on the console Neutral = Reverse and Drive = L1. Cable is tight with slop or play in the linkage. It's an after market cable. Has anyone had this same problem. o No:

   Are ya sure it wasn't for a Powerglide? Wouldn't that explain everything from Park to D2.
