tilt column swap - shift lever pin?? ttt - surely someone has run into this problem... I recenty swapped a tilt column from a 72 skylark into my 70 skylark. Everything went well with the swap but the pin that holds the shift lever in seems to be too small girthwise. It is not thick/wide enough so it works its way out as I move the lever up and down. Are there different sized pins for different years? If not, does anyone have a suggestion for keeping the pin in place? I am also wondering if there is a source for slightly larger pins?
