I haven’t used my little Hobart Mig welder in about 6 years but I need to do some welding tomorrow. I opened the valve on the gas bottle and it’s still under pressure. Is it still “good”, i.e, will it still be effective?

If you can fry some bacon with it, you’ll have your answer. I’m guessing yes.

I would be more worried about the wire. Make sure its not all rusty. It'll chew up your liner.
