I must sell my other project car. I have to trim down my space and have no choice now but to sell her. I've put alot of effort getting this car perfectly straight with a perfectly rust free rear clip from a southern Cal car. This is a cab and chassis. Big block frame pads in her. I'm not selling the 9" ford custom rear or the perfectly straight ram air hood or grille.

The car cut at the pillar and the complete rear clip was replaced with the nice metal. The only thing with this rear clip is some pitting on the roof. Nothing serious at all. The car had two gallons of sandable primer sanded off soft boarding the car to make it very straight. Trunk is great, no issues in the rear window. Zero quarter rust, none at all. Core support is pretty darn good with one small hole under the battery. This was an AC car auto, had a bench seat before. Rear frame has been brushed, stripped, cleaned then POR15 was applied.

Located in the Houston Texas area. $1100 priced to move with 12bolt housing.:ball:

    Dave,

I cannot believe your selling this car,
after all the work you had done to it !!
This car has hours of block sanding done.
It has also been sitting in storage for about 10 years.

Someone up north with a rusted car will NEED this one....

I can't believe no one needs this clean '69 body and frame. When I got the california parts car for this super clean rear clip I couldn't believe the quarters where absolutely perfect. You just don't see that in the deep south we have to much humitity. I shinned my light from the rear quater window along the inner skin of the quaters, WOW! Not ever even any surface. The wheel wells are like buick made them 40 years ago. Trim lips uncut. The bottom of the cab is equally clean. The only surface was where someone had removed some of the top material. The front fenders are nice and solid without any repairs. The frame was never rusted and the rear end had the GS braces. You can see the speckly paint for the final sand looking for any imperfections. I was taken down to bare metal, epoxy black, sandable primer. It's metal with only about .003-4" primer ready for first paint. This car would look fine black, red or my favorite the original Valverty Dark green. The color on the front was something we though about, PPG chrome yellow, kind of like a conary yellow.

This car has been 10.40s on nitrous. Good karma!

I'll offer it up for a week at $1100, i'll even put the 12bolt housing under it. If it doesn't sell it's time to cut her up. It will be quaters and window fillets ect.. on ebay.:Dou:

Hi, I have a couple of questions. Does any front sheet metal come with the car, how about doors? Is there glass with the car? The twelve bolt, just a peg leg or a posi? This is too nice of a car to cut up. Do you have a place I can stay when my wife finds out?
    Thanks,
    Allen

    Hi Allen,

The 12 bolt is 2.91 non-posi that came in a Canadian built '69 GS. The front sheet metal goes except the Ram Air hood. I'm keeping that for my Pro-Street car.

    The car has:

    Door glass
    quarter glass
    dash pad
    cluster
    Big block frame pads
Rear glass is out but goes
    Bumper cores
    Core support
12 bolt non posi, I have an series 4 carier I'll give ya'
    driver quality rear light lenses
    quarter GS350 or GS400 markers
factory GS trunk flip lock cover
    Radiator

    Car needs:
    Door panels
    Seats
    Carpet
    Headliner
    float the roof and paint
    Grille
    New ball joints
Windshield busted when cutting the seal
    Motor and trans

I just want her to find a good home. The one project is all I can handle these days.

Do I wish I was closer! I agree, it would be a shame to cut it up. I do have a friend who is looking for another old car to do and I will be seeing him tomorrow. I will ask if he is interested. What color is the car inside and out, auto or stick?

OOOPs, I see it is a bench seat auto car.:Dou: The nice thing is I know where a 69 GS parts car is that is nearly complete, so that may help with the sale to my friend. Wish me luck!

Yes! having access to a parts car would make this thing go together very quickly. The car had bench seat, column shift automatic, power brake, AC.

I'll try to come up with a picture that shows how straight the thing is.

To make a restored car I would sand blast the front frame, add new ball joints, tie rods, bushings ect.... Chassis black the front end frame to go with what I did while the rear clip was off. Paint it your favorite color, I like the factory Valverty Green. Beautiful!

Here's a picture of my other project. I'm using the GS grille here.:TU:

Dave, I talked to him last night and at this time he says he cant do it. I REALLY want to buy the car for myself but cant find all the money now plus the cost of going 1400 miles to pick it up. I sure hope someone buys this car before it is cut up.
