have not sold a car on ebay in about 17 years, lol. was trying to read and figure out exactly what they will charge me. when i checked ebay out today it seems they have a set price on vehicles. 3 different packages. 1st 19 bucks, 2nd 49 bucks, 3rd option 79 bucks?? this seems to low to me? i must be missing something. need to sell my 69 Riv, and my wifes 66 chevelle convertible. any ebay experts out there?

That does seem cheap, but maybe it is because there are a lot more platforms to sell vehicles these days, so they have lower prices...? I recall that they used to charge a flat $99 to list or something close to that...but that was a couple of years ago last time I checked about selling a car there. You can try Bring a Trailer, too, although they seem to take a while to get a vehicle listed and up for auction. Ebay always spooks me on higher priced items because there is zero way to prohibit scammers and people with no history, and oftentimes, no intention of paying, from bidding, especially at auction close when you're stuck and cannot cancel out a bid. At least BAT, you do have to have a CC on file and it gets charged when you bid. Good luck, Charlie.

No experience, but seems like Bring A Trailer is a good venue.

There's no ebaymotors sell fees ..just flat listing fee..BAT is good if you have a very nice car they don't accept average stuff if they accept you at all and they will dictate what a good reserve price is.

Yeah, FB MP is free and widely used but if going that route be prepared for a lot of internet certified appraisal experts and a bunch of swamp donkeys that are not interested in your car, they just want to talk sh!t, throw out lowball offers or trade you a couple pounds of weed for your car. I posted a car on FB once, and it did sell, so it worked. But, you do need patience and a good realization that there is a lack of common sense in the world today.

Yeah it's not many easy avenue but I think there is more internet traffic on FB than Ebay these days.

You get the internet appraisers in on V8 too.

Unfortunately any avenue to sell anything you have to weed through the douches to get to a real buyer. I would get those same people back in the day with paper g or sale ads too. Same with Craig's list years ago.
