Hi, My name is Paul Strassner. 15 years ago my dad bought his first " old car " it was a 1970 Buick Skylark Convertible. A few years ago he pulled the front end off, along with the engine and transmission. The he left my mom. She was left with quite a few cars and decided us kids could pick from them. I got His convertible. This was the car that started the hobby for all of us in the family. I already know the reasons not to start a car project based on centimental feelings, but that aside I can't see this car be trashed. My Dad was very active in the BCA and I am sure some of you know him. The good news is that he and mom are back together again I have no door panels and no chrome for around the top opening. I need Headlight bezels and the wiring harness for the front lights. I have some extra parts and would be willing to trade. Plus I am the Manager of the Local NAPA store and an possible help from that standpoint. Thanks, Paul Strassner
I forgot. I bought a 71 electra for the engine, and have most of the car left. Minus the fenders. I was trying to sell the parts a recoup some of the cost, but now I need to get rid of it. E-mail with needs. Small donation and shipping buys parts. Slightly larger donation and removal gets the car.
