I just bought a nice condition '64 Wildcat 4-door. My son will be driving this car and I'm curious what I can do to get: Head rests/restrains and shoulder seat belts? I searched but didn't see anything here. I assume I just have to find a year that has head rests and swap out the bench? Not so sure on the easiest way to get shoulder seatbelts. thank you for any help you can lend. Jay

I'm not familar with the bench seats of the era, so this is a guess. If the seat is in good condition, how about fitting head rests to it?

The bench seats I've done here in Aus used a socket arrangement that mounted into the top rail of the backrest. Just a matter of measuring twice, cutting the vinyl & padding away carefully & fitting the mount points.

You should be able to find a pair of headrests & mounts. Vinyl dye to match & you're there.

I'm new to Buicks, so someone ( which is just about everyone here) will be able to say yea or nay.

    Cheers,

    Chris

I think 1967 may have been the 1st year where headrests became available as an option.

The procar line of aftermarket seats has some models that look at home in the 60s cars. Here are some in my 65 Lark:
