hi pat yeah the stage 1 is sherwood green with a black painted roof. paint code 48-19 with white buckets, yet the trim code is 188. i bought it in 1977 and knew the car before that. this is the way buick built it. when you get to walmart, be sure to ask for sherwood green, its real purty. oddly, i didnt get a notice that anyone had replied to this thread. henry white 40 dodge coupe 70 GS 350 soon to be offered for sale:ball: 70 GS 455 70 STAGE 1 four speed, numbers matching, sloan certified 87 dodge W 250 tuff truck 02 silverado 1500 like a rock
Mean Green Machines Rule! Green IS the best color. It's also the FASTEST color. I've heard of people taking off two tenths with just a simple green (not the cleaner) spray job. Marco told me that. And I believe everything Marco tells me. Isn't that so, Marco? Oh, and Henry, Pat is a cool dude and I knew he was just bustin' on ya. Maybe he's even almost cool enough to paint one of them cars he has GREEN! :moonu:
Green GSs Ask Marco about the different shades of Sherwood Green. The last Buick event we had 3 different vertions of it. AL
Hey Al- I was there listening to that convo and checking out the greatly different shades of the alleged same color. "Will the real Sherwood Green please stand up". Anyway, we all know Lime Mist is where it's at...
