I'm looking for bodies to build an old traditional hot rod and use my spare '59 389 for the powerplant for it. I recently found a '59 Bellhousing for a 4 speed for 100$ so I decided to look for a 4 speed now. I found this on craigslist and paid $150 for it. He said his buddy told him it was probably mid '60s. Any one have any ideas? GM1 8826866 and this looks to be a VIN 18K185259 and what appears to be a date code. This one is really hard to read B208 or 8298 or a combo of those 2 the 9 is the year. '58? '68? maybe even '78? Also, Let me know if yall want to get rid of any 28-36ish old vehicles yall have laying around.
