I know that the S-Divider intake is not the first choice of many street/strip owners. I remember a thread which said that it actually out torqued an Edelbrock B4b on a dyno when a 1" 4- hole spacer was applied and that there would be further testing. I am about to install one and would like to know if this occured. Most people tell me any single plane is worth mostly weight savings and any ET improvement is small if any. Of course I would like to maximize any benefits with the knowledge of those who have been there. Dano No:
Mr. Burek was kind enough to share his dyno information with me a while back. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jholthenrichs/weightsn.htm Scroll down a little and you'll see his letter to me. If your manifold is an older one, be sure the center divider is milled down about an inch. Later designs have this and it improves idle quality. It is a good manifold, but higher than the Edelbrock. Adding a 1" spacer makes it even higher. So be sure to check your hood clearance before closing it the first time.:gt:
Thanks, yes i remember this thread. It has been milled down an inch. I was hoping this "further testing" may have occured by now. Dan
