rotating slicks?does it really help?

    ive heard you should rotate every 10 runs or so my son ,s car has lost a .10 and im wondering if thats the problem ////// thanks pete

    I always did mine......But racing at Norwalk I always have a good starting line.

    A tenth in 60 foot?

    We always rotate ours every 3-4 runs.How often you switch is mostley dependent on the weight of the car and the hp your making.Heavy high hp cars you need to stay on top of it because the side walls take a beating.We would get around 12-14 runs before the 60ft's would go away and it's time to buy tires.

    Even with my directional Phoenix slicks I rotate them every 20 or so passes for 2 or 3 passes and switch them back. It actually does work especially the more worn they get.

    thanks guys so i guess we should give it a try ////is a tenth wrong he went from 1.52 to 1.62 ok pete
