    I laughed out loud too....we had that ugly color and a biege color one also.

    Just kicking myself in the butt for not acting quicker.I was scrambling to get the $$,then saw it sold:ball: At least it's still in the country:TU:

    A few years ago, my Mother needed knew wall mount kitchen phone.
    After buying and returning a few name brand phones, I found that the sound quality was crap, and the volume was at a point she couldn't hear.
    New land line phones are absolute junk! :moonu:

    I went on eBay and bought her a NOS 60's era Bell Slimline, which is what was there to begin with. Weighs about 5 lbs so you know it's good! :TU:
    It even sold in the estate sale for good money since we held onto the box.

    Another thing I am tempted to find on eBay is a NOS toaster from the 50's or 60's since toasters these days don't seem to last but 2 years.
