I have heard the Romac Balancer is very tight by the timing cover. Will it fit with a block girdle on? I do not mind grinding if I need to.
    Thanks

As long as the Balancer Clear the time Tab on the cover you should
be fine Bolt the Cover up install Balancer to see if it clear the Tab

    Not the Tab

The close place is at the front of the girdle and the front of the cover. A little grinding will do. A Romac will hit without a girdle unless you use two oil slingers. I never had trouble with the tab, just the front of the cover. Not a big deal. I ground a little and it was fine. Charlie uses two slingers with the front one's OD trimed down.

The machine shop had to grind down the bottom front of my timing cover for just this reason....
