I am removing the column shift tilt column in a 1965 Skylark (was originally 75, oops) and replacing it with a non-tilt column. (Tilt needs work). I can’t figure out how the horn wire locks into the steering wheel. I removed the plastic tube with spring and copper pin from the wheel because it looks different than the non-tilt, this leaves the two wires with a crimped connector and a piece of grey plastic that is too small to connect to the hole in the wheel. In Line Tube sells a part that might work, I’m not sure. If you are familiar with these steering wheels, please look at the pictures and post much needed guidance. the long grey part is from the tilt wheel.
