Just to make something a little clear, the op of the original thread had no interest in making an informative head porting thread. The guy was looking for money. Then after one little bit of skepticism from Buickssstage1 , the op went nuts on him. The guy screwed his own thread. So I don't know why this thread was closed, it seemed to be flowing along in the same manner that the op set it off. That thread had a little bit from everybody in there, it survived many of posts being removed, (including mine, arrrrrr) it had soul, and plenty of character. It was the one thread that seemed to out of the blue have three pages added to it. There was plenty of good info in that thread, and plenty of people just being people. Closing the thread wont change that. Besides I wanted to see that thread make it to the unveiling of Mike TA's race head. So now what? Go home, partys over? Theirs still plenty of popcorn left. I feel like Roger Gadel stepped in and suspended everyone for a yr.
Negative on that, it was closed because I HIGH JACKED IT. I apologized to Jim Wise for it and agreed it did indeed needed closed. I also told Jim that I will be starting a new thread about big chief heads but decided to change the name to about port and polishing cylinder heads. You betcha I'll be mentioning Big Chief heads for Buicks in it. Don't worry about the information, I'll be reposting it in my new thread.:af::TU:ray::beer:beers2::laugh::rant:
