I need new windshield trim for 67 Skylark. I have heard that the reproduced trim is not good and has issues, any one have experience with this or know if any particular trim manufacturer that is better than others. Thanks

I would pay to have the old stuff polixhed and dents removed. I did that on mine 64.

I would do what topless mentioned,,,I've seen re popped trim on other cars that doesn't fit right,,and doesn't look right,,,seen a 67 camaro with re popped trim,,looked like a brushed finish on it!!!
I had a fellow remove dents and polish mine,,,really happy with it!!! Likely looks better than it ever did new!!!!

Typically, most reproduction parts have issues. Anytime you have a choice you are by far better off repairing and polishing your originals. There are a lot of shops in the country that do this exclusively if you aren't equipped to do it yourself. If yours are too far gone, post a wanted ad here for some replacements. I'm sure someone will respond.

Let me know if you still need a set of OEM windshield trim because I do have several sets. Most need to be cleaned of silicone caulk that people used as a last ditch effort to stop the leaks when the rust formed around the windshield frame. I get $50.00 plus shipping for a set of windshield chrome if you are interested. With all that I have I can select the best parts for you but you will have to do the cleaning. Send me and email if you are interested because my PM inbox is 99% full right now. I also have all of the side body moldings as well if you or anyone else needs any.
