I've had this decal for some 20 years.I'm not sure if it is a nice early repro(osborne reproductions etc) or a GM.The decal is embossed around all the written surfaces and crinkled around the tri shield area. The back has no repro company label or any writing of any kind.Any help on this mystery to me would be appreciated,thanks...........Cole

I'm gonna guess it's NOS. The earliest repros (Jim Osborn, Year One, etc) were not embossed at all. The John Csordas/NEGSCA decals are embossed, but not quite as deeply as the originals. The embossing on that looks pretty deep (even visible on the backing paper--I don't think that the embossing was visible on the backing paper on my NE chapter repro).
If memory serves, the originals had "Printed in the USA" in the bottom right corner, in the chrome outline part, and I don't think any of the repros have that.

    Cole,

Nicholas is correct. It should have "PRINTED IN U.S.A." written in the silver border on the bottom near the lower right-hand corner. I have an NOS 350 and 455 label and they both have the same writing. I'd take a picture but my camera can't get fine, small details.

Thanks for the info Nicholas and Brian. The decal does not have "printed in the USA" on it anywhere,so I'm thinking it must be one of the NE chapter repros............Cole
