Who knows "for sure" what brand and part number paint is being used for painting these to the correct color?

I know what I use. I don't know about anyone else.

PPG DIU base mixed to match original 69-71 GS grilles. There is a lighter and darker Argent silver for the waffle area.

    John,

Krylon dull alum works for the silver, Semi flat black works for the black. The waffle area is a charcoal silver. Most of the oe manufactures used this color on thier truck grilles. A mid 90's Chevy truck is a good match. Most people call this argent. I think Eastwood makes an argent silver for Pontiac ralley wheels.

These will probably get you close enough.

I got 5 cans of silver out of my stash yesterday and sprayed them all on cardboard and labeled them and found that Eastwoods' Alumi Blast was very close to the NOS grille I have here.
