Removing pinch weld molding

    Anybody have any experence in removing the pinchweld molding around the convertible top?

    I have a car I am getting ready to send to the paint shop and want to take this of for paint.

    I do on 68 and newer. YOu have to do it with the top down and it should come out pretty easy once you get the screws out. Now if you have something older, not really sure.

    All u have to do is take a drill and they will come out then they can be replaced by the new ones that screw in if u are talking about around body of the top.:bglasses:
