I was wondering if anyone could let me know the proper proceedure on how to remove my convertible top? I will be removing the top frame with the top attached to use on the new car since it's in good condition. I just want to make sure I don't damage anything. I already removed the cylindars and the 3 bolts on each side that holds the frame to the car. I'm not sure what to remove next that will allow me to just lift the top out of the car. If anyone can give me this information it would be most appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Dave

IF this is a 1968 and up car you will have to remove the bolt on each side that holds the rear floating mounting bar for the top. The top attaches to this bar but doesn't touch the body. IT is a floating system.
