Thinking on installing a remote oil filer with my System One filter and was wondering if the filter should be installed with the opening down or the opening pointing up? Higher or lower than current filter ?
I'm using a Hamberger mount that swivels so I can eliminate any 90 deg turns in the lines without running the lines all over the place. I would think you want the filter pointing down to avoid a mess when checking/changing. I don't think the level of the filter will matter since it's under pressure. Is this a scavenger or internal oiling system?
