I am reaching out to see who can make a referral to a repair shop that can handle a second opinion on an engine problem with a 1984 Grand Wagoneer. The non mechanically inclined owner has been told it has a broken piston ring and that is why it's smoking. No more information given at this time. The shop needs to be proficient and doing compression and leak down tests as well as go through all the other items to make sure. Just in case a couple of shops would be better than just one.
