    WoW!!!:eek2: :eek2: :eek2: 57 Chevy Belair 2 Door Hardtop

A little old lady owned this. Her husband was killed in an auto accident and she received a bunch of money. She always wanted one of these and her two young boys set out to find her one to drive back and forth to church services.

Seems they got the car they wanted and not the car she wanted. She drove it a couple of times and parked it in the barn. Best part is she never let them drive it!!

I stopped and inquired about it! Seems it has been in the barn for the past 3 years. It was started about 3 or 4 times a year.

    This is unbelieveable!!!!

To make a long story short, I bought it and drove it home to give it the love and nurturing it deserves!

427 Big Block, 400 turbo trans and an old Olds rearend....definitely a posi (Laid a patch on the way home  )
I have no idea what gear it's got yet, but the speedo is definitely off.

    Lots of pics to come

These pics do not do this thing justice. My digital cam is a piece of s#*t! But, better than nothing.... Bought this baby for $7500!

Carburator (sp) is flooding with gas above 35 MPH or so!(probably from sitting)... other than that, it's absolutely spectacular!!!

    Who's the Boss?

Didn't Tony Danza drive a car just like that in some movie?

I think had to do with a drive in closing or something?:Do No:

My hand to God... I didn't ask her age.... but I would say she was 60 -65 years old. My wife is still in disbelief that I brought this thing home.

I don't know if it needs the wheelie bars. But there is a some wear on them most likely from a previous owner.

    Taxi!! Oh Taxi????!!!!! LOL

Well, After doing some fine tooth combing of the car, I have discovered that is does actually use the Wheelie bars!

I know this because the gas tank is absolutely mangled where the bar has evidently slammed into it several times... Think I'll go with a fuel cell in the truck!

Definitely not a Rice Burner!!!!!:Brow: :Brow: :Brow:
