The dash vacuum switches are expensive and not so easy to get by. I did put in some silicone grease in them with a syringe for a bench test. They do seal now, but probably wont last that long? Putting some oil on them with a swelling agent seems like a huge risk. Same with taking them apart also. Any magic tricks for this, or you head straight for the NOS market?

Turns out you can actually replace these switches without taking off the whole dash. This was my biggest concern, don't want to remove the dash yet another time. So I'll just roll with the silicone grease solution, might tell you in a year how it went. Short term I can say that the silicone grease injection made the dash vacuum switches go from non-usable to almost leak free.
