I have some very light surface rust by my back window, I want to take the window out, clean it up and Por-15 the whole area around the window, just to make sure it won't happen again. Will the new window seal stick to the Por-15? Or will I have to scuff it up and put on a top coat? Thanks.

Good question. I don't know. I POR'd my window channels and top coated them for good measure.

Pulling and installing the window is a 2-person job, at least. Once the rear window is set in place on the ribbon sealer, I walked on mine so set it in place. The windshield will get air pressure to help press it in, but the rear, not so much. So I made sure it was well seated.

Yes, a rear window will support your weight.

Of course, the windshield will instantly crack.
