Question about mounting the upper portion of the back seat on a 70 GS. I know the bottom gets the two screws with the large washer to the trunk divider, but, the top of the rear seat?

So I have this bar or metal rod (need to get picture when I get home) that I know was on the back of the upper seat back.

First, how does that attach to the back seat? Hog rings?
Second, does that rod sit on the metal side portions?

Rod looks like a headliner bow but I think it’s thicker.

    Thanks,
    Nick

Yeah, I’m a butthead. I think it’s actually a headliner bow. I looked back in the trunk divider and there are hooks at the top to catch the seat. Looking back my car only had 4 of 5 bows in the roof. I just assumed number 5 was gone. Guess it fell down and got intertwined with rear seat springs. Wound up buying a new repo set just for last bow.
