I should know this but is the quarter glass different between hardtops and convertibles? My passenger side window has never fit right and I noticed it has different numbers on it than my drivers side. I thought they were different but wanted to confirm.

    Thanks

I always thought the rear quarter glass of the same year Buick convert was not the same as the hardtop. But get someone else to verify this.

Take the back seat out on the panel off the side of the window in question. Assuming the rollers etc are Ok then you have an up travel stop adjustment , a down travel stop adjustment and a lean in, lean out adjustment.

My 66 electras ie;convertible and hardtop are different. I found a replacement from a 66 cadilac to be the same. I think they are called GM "a" bodies.

    Electra is a "C" body
A body is Skylark, Cutlass, etc.
B body is Le Sabre, 88, Catalina, etc
C body is Electra, 98, Bonneville, etc

    Quarter glass

I know on a 67 they are different on a convertible. I purchased a 67 that somebody etched a scene on both quarter windows. The replacment windows were very hard to find. Good luck.

If your glass is tinted you can buy it new. I used auto city glass date coded, fit good. mark
