I received a few of these today from TPP.

These are the Rear Hood Adjusters and are dipped in a rubber type coating on the top like the factory ones were.

    $15.00 Each Plus Shipping.

(Or maybe check out some of the KITS I put together including these along with the Front Adjusters if you need to replace all of them)

You made me go out to the garage and raise the hood on my 69. The 68 and 69 Skylark/ GS did not have these at the rear of the hood.

Were there any bumpers in the rear?

Strange that The Parts Place would list them for 1969 models!

    Todd,
There are two rubber bumpers attached to the bottom of the back edge of the hood. "The press in type" There is a welded metal support on top of the cowl at each corner. There is no adjustment to these.

I have always wondered what those welded support things were for. Thanks for solving a mystery!

The finish should be gold in color (like seat belt bolts) to be a correct representation. The nut should be natural 11/16 " across the flats thin nut.
