Any recommendations for getting a rear end rebuilt in the eastern Mass. area?

    TIA

You should contact Paintworks - sean@paintworksunlimited.com. Greg at Paintworks is going to rebuild my rear end this winter.
Not quite Mass though, about an hour and half North of Boston.

There's a guy in Wakefield who did a rearend for me about two years ago. I can't think of his name offhand, but it will come to me.

Is the guy in Wakefield Daryl Lancto or somethink like that? If it is I had his business card but I will be dipped if I can find it. My friend who races NHRA stock uses him and swears by him. I have talked to him as well and was impressed. I will try and find his address if Bob does not get it first.

Yeah, his name is Daryl (or Darrell or whatever). His company used to be Montrose Machine, but the company moved a bit (still in Wakefield) and I forget whether it is still called Montrose Machine.

If a search for Montrose doesn't turn anything up, let me know and I can find out exactly where he is again.

That's him. He did work for a machine shop but went out on his own. I sent friend email to get location.

Hey Paul, Steve Murray her e. My father-in-law, Ken Robbins has been rebuilding rearends for years, cars, trucks etc.. He actually has done much work for Montrose in the past!!! He did the 12 bolt in my 70 lark, never had a problem!{naturally} He is probably the most reasonable you will find in this area. Can be done in one day. Figured I'd try to help ya. Ken can be reached at 978 658 5206. Myself 658 2247. Good Luck Paul!!
