cool...would a 70-72 chevelle piece work on a 72 skylark or is the glass/spacings/trunk lid diff?? cause there like 150$ cheaper...idk why but annoying...
You can use the chevelle body piece if you want, but you then have to use the 70-72 chevelle rear window and chrome trim. Of course it does make the car look a little weird. Duane
i mean idk if i need one 100%...when i lay in my trunk i can see light coming through pinholes...like 7, around the corners mostly, and some along the track...and on the ext. theres bubbly rust under the paint...i sealed all around the chrome trim in the gap with clear silicone...but it water still seems to drip inside the window behind the 6x9s... looks like poo and its not the right way to do it....and i dont want a bodyshop to take the window and get deep into unless i have the deck filler to hand them....what should i do...do you think its reparable? or new window seal? please ehlp
John, You could always take a ride over to Ivyland and see Nick Serwo at Ivyland Collision. He knows these cars down to nuts and bolts. Could get the piece if needed and give you a number to do the work. It's only a half hour drive.
wheres this place...i went to a little place in town where i work and he said hed have to bust the window to actually do the job, when my dads buddy(whos dead now) replaced both window gaskets for 75$ a window...dammit why do ppl die
