Don't know how this even could have started, but this morning my 455 had a tick with in about 4 miles it was rattling. Yes I was driving normal..my wife even drove the Regal all day yesterday, and knowing how anal I am about the car she's usually good about telling stuff about it... she said it ran fine as normal. Now this scenerio has happened before , mainly right after start up a light rattle tick noise then it goes away. I once drove it for about 2 miles when I stopped to turn it around the noise was gone. 455 rattle how old is your engine.i have seen the frt or rear main seal shred and get sucked up into pickup tube and cause the pump to plug up. could starve the engine for oil.and i have seen casting flash break off in pump and keep pressure relief valve open causing low oil pressure.i would try changine oil and filter ,maybe alittle thicker oil as its been alittle warm lately. and its a cheaper place to start .really need to see if any metal in oil anyways. hope alls ok :beer andy
