I think someone was trying to make a point there. And, I'm betting he wasn't Santa Claus and she wasn't a Saint.
Just a couple of local ones setting in a barn. ‘70 Chevelle and a ‘68 GTO. Also three more ‘69 GTO’s in the same barn. They are still out there. You have to keep looking.
that is correct...In my perfect world, I would like to think they just need to be cleaned up and rolled out of the barn....hoping that they have not been mouse sanctuaries for the last 40 years
If you look close, they are all setting on plastic. His good cars are setting in other buildings with concrete floors. He has a few cars at different locations. He is always too busy working on someone’s car and doesn’t have time to work on his own. He has painted three of my GS’s and the Apollo GSX for me.
There are plenty of barn finds out here in South Carolina, problem is the rednecks that have them laying next to the single wide all have satellite dishes and are watching Barrett-Jackson thinking they can restore them with a spray can of Rustolium and get $100,000 for them ! Idiots.
Girlfriend has been going through radiation treatments for breast cancer for the last month, but she was having a good day yesterday, so we decided to take the Caddy out for a cruise because it was the 4th and what's more American than a blonde riding around in a big, white Cadillac? Spotted this '52 sitting in the Les Schwab parking lot and decided to take a look. Pretty haggard but the doors still open and close like a bank vault.
Found it later at the shadiest of shady dealerships here in town. Like JB weld cracked blocks and heads kind of place.....would you believe $21,500? And his pics make it look much better than it is: http://carwerksmt.com/vehicledetails.php?&vID=186
