Ragtop boot - velcro strip - pictures??

I'm trying to install my new aftermarket top boot (1967 Skylark)

My seat doesn't have the channel that bolts to the back of it, and the boot has velcro along that edge.
The boot also came with another spare strip of velcro to attach to the back seat.

But.... is the boot supposed to lay on top of the seat, or tuck behind it?

Can someone post a picture of their boot installed?

    Thanks!

Rick, there is a metal piece that screws to the back of the seat. best pic I have now. I have a metal piece I was going to use on my 64 but when I blasted it ended up with some small holes in the bottom of the channel. I bought it off of ebay. I have since found another one with the plastic strip and velcro that I will use. The other one will work fine and nobody will know and I bought the aftermarket velcro strip from PUI for 66-67 cars. You can buy the repro metal part for 79.00 and the after market velcro/plastic slide in strip for 22.00. I will sell my set for 55.00 shipped to you if interested.
