Race Tires

    Sorry to put this in this section. But my buddy who visits this board but does not post asked me to post this to our racers.

    My Buddy is looking for a new set of Drag Slicks, He has a set of Mickey Thompsons but was wondering about other tires and their consistancy at the track. What tires do you guys prefer. :TU:

    Kelly Eber I'd rather be racing

    I used Mickey Thompson 28 x 10.5 slicks. I felt like thay worked well and was happy with them.

    PHOENIX (formerly Firestone) have worked best for me and I've tried them all. Long lasting sticky compound. Don't tend to hold air real well running tubeless but soap helps.
