    So sad..
I also grew up with Fleetwood Mac. She had such a sweet different voice.

Another of our childhood greats gone. In my mind its hard to remember that all these artest I grew up with are a bit older than I am. Course I sometimes forget Im as old as I am. Time marches on.

Rumors came out around 1977ish? Didn't think they still made 8 tracks at that time.
I actually bought the Rumors album twice as I lent the first one out and was never returned and bought another.
I wasn't much of a record collector, maby had 10 records and 5 albums only. Lots of cassettes though.. Just goes to show just how much I loved Fleetwood Mac.

8 tracks were definitely around in the late 70’s. I bought my first 8 track tape player in 1976.

8 tracks in 1977 oh yeah I had a holder that had about 10 of them at least I think I had 20 then, and me and my buddy would go out at lunch smoke a big fatty and listen to music for an hr. Best days! I also had a Quad 8 track player at the time too, had about 6 quad 8 tracks. I still have a couple of them somewhere, Dark Side of the Moon was great, The beginning of money would go around all 4 speakers. Riders on the storm would echo in the back and sing out the fronts.

The real stereos were made back in the day!! Dual, Bose, B&O. Marantz, plus a lot of others I almost bought a Marantz Quad stereo back in 1976 but I did not like the colored lights and had to have that dark green lights for the radio tuner. So no Quad Receiver went with 2 speaker.
Spell check doesn't even know what a Marantz is, it wants to call it Manta. dumb arsses. lol
