quick ratio steering box

hi all im curious if anyone knows where i can get the parts to rebuild my box myself to quick ratio. i know you can buy new but id like to rebuild mine and cant find the worm gears.

Have read before that unless you really know what your doing,,you shouldn't tinker around with steering boxes!!!
If you want a quicker ratio for cheap,,,you can find a box out of a Grand Cherokee,,theyre 12:1 ratio,,,and there has to be about 32 million of them out there!!!!

 

no worse than a trans or rearend rebuild i can find all the seals and so forth just not the gears

 

ive had no luck

Lee Engineering Boxes are excellent.

You might see if you can get a core reduction by sending in your old one. LE blue prints their boxes and it is suppose to be as close to a rack and pinion feel as you can get while still using a steering box.

Might give them a call and visit with them.
