Thanks Adam, we'll see how it goes. The guys at the shop glued it in without me knowing for trunklid alignment (I was going to do it myself) so I'll see how it goes....they made a mess of the seam too :Dou:

I should also add the 1/4 glass strips, and top weatherstripping were also all metro, good stuff.

Careful with those replacement gas tanks. I have filler alignment issues, can still get the gas nozzle in there, but I get a splash and puddle when it get's to full. No baffles inside some of the repro tanks. Mine had a vent at the rear...I wanted to be correct and had it capped and welded 2 tubes on far left of filler like original. Gas would slurp out the vent pipes everytime I punched it. The original for the 67 had lines inside the tank that ran strategically to prevent just that! In the interim I have lenghtened the vent pipe along full length of bumper and coiled a few times. 96% efficient. If you know of a ingenius trick to resolve let me know...

The 72 is a closed vent system so I've got my fingers crossed. Its a goodmark tank...I have heard there are filler neck issues, that is why the rear bumper is going on first, once the parts I need arrive. If I need to bend the filler neck I would rather the tank be empty...so it will go on after the bumper.

I am not familiar with the 67's at all...
