can you interchange upper and lower a-arms for 72 buick skylark to a 72 olds cutlass supreme?? pretty sure i thought you could o No:
Yes you can. Both are A-bodies and suspensions interchange. This includes the front upper and lower control arms.
Recognize, however, that some cars came with oval rather than round lower arm bushings. The donor car might have different bushings. This is not a problem except that you might have already purchased the wrong bushings.
thanks for the replys, badbrad>>>>i have replaced the bushings in a set of control arms and can swap in the whole arm (round bushings)
i have heard that if u had an ls6 (454 ci) chevelle with f41 suspension, that the front lower control arms were different than those on a f41 without the 454 . anyone cognisant of this ?
