I am going to do a conversion. I have a bench seat in my 71. Can I use the regular slightly bent shifters, or do I need a specific almost "C" shaped "bench" shifters?? Thanks Jay
They make all kinds of different shift levers. I had a bench in my 55 chev, and ran the C shaped one. The one your talking about might hit the seat in 2nd, and 4th, if the seat isnt back all the way.
