    It has the BOP bolt pattern, so it should filt all Buick 225, 231, 300, 340, 350, 400, 430, and 455 blocks as well as various Cadillac, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac engines.

    wheelz 'B' is for Buick.

    Hey Wes! I find this quite intriguing..however, I'm having an unclear moment right now...with that starter in reverse position on this bellH, will I need a reverse rotation starter for a Buick application? Wheelz, Tampa Bay

    How old is this piece ??? What starter is used for this set up ? Did you have it behind a 455 buick ?

    Thanks

    Haven't been on in a very long time guys, sorry for the late response;

    I have never had it bolted to an engine. It was going to be for a project that fell through. The person I purchased it from had it behind a small block buick v8.

    Wheelz; I never thought about the direction of rotation for the starter, I guess you would probably need to get a reverse rotation starter. Makes lots of room for headers though.

    Here are some better pictures fro those asking about clutch size:

    It would be better to contact me via email as I don't get on here anywhere near as much as I used to.

    Starter rotation was my first thought. A good rebuilder can handle that.
