I need to know about Year One quarter panel skins for my 1972 Stage 1 convt. My bodyman is reluctant to modify my NOS hardtop (GM) rear quarters that are complete/uncut, out of the original boxes . I thank him for that. Measure three times, cut once. Anyway, who has the best available rear quarter skins for the convt.? Does anyone have some "experience" with a certain company/ vendor? I am looking for the best fit/quality that I can find. I have the rear wheelhouses, inner & outer from a nice New Mexico donor car. The NOS quarters "might" be for sale in the near future. I need some assistance to resolve this crisis. Thanks, Upstaged in Michigan!!!!

None are remade. You can try to adapt Tabco hardtop quarters.

Several on this board have used the TABCO with good results . Or you couyld shell out the biog bucks for NOS convert quarters

It would be cheaper in the long run to buy a decent Skylark convertible and cut the quarters off of it and part out the rest of the car. It would probably be close to a break even deal if you could get the car for $3,500 or less.

Tell your body man to use the hardtop quarters as you originally intended to do.
