I like the fact that it has no gaskets.....none All mated surfaces are machined for O-rings Check out the dyno results.......over 2000 hp :eek2: :3gears: http://www.popularhotrodding.com/enginemasters/articles/chevrolet/bigblock/0305em_turbo_bb/ D.
I'll see your "4", and raise you "8"... Along the same lines of "if some is good, then more is better", how about my buddy Steves '57 'Vert powered by an LS1 with 8-turbos!
Sooo I'm not the only one that likes women like that also....... :Brow: Mike Moran is one kick a&& engine builder but If Kenny Dutweiler can make 3800 hp (would have made more if it didn't break the Dyno) with twin turbos on a 522 cube BBC, 4 just seems to be overly complicated..... o No:
video of the engine on the dyno (http://www.teasdesign.com/lateral-g/8xturbodyno.asf) video of the hood opening up (http://www.teasdesign.com/lateral-g/inciner8orhoodopen.asf) video of the whole car (http://www.teasdesign.com/lateral-g/inciner8or.wmv) for more pics look here (http://www.lateral-g.net/sandlin/)
o No: Multiple turbos? Take a look around at any NTPA tractor pull. Those guys are experts on multi-engine / multi-turbo engineering. They aren't just a bunch of Bozo's on tractors. :beer :beer
