I have two 800 cfm Quadrajets that I built a couple of winters ago. When spring rolled around, I tested them on my 71 GS street car. I kind of forgot about them till a few days ago as I was going through stuff to take to the Nationals for the swap meet. For anyone that has a car at the Nats and needs a Q-jet come and see me. I will be in the swap meet area. Thanks, John $350 each 7041540 MF 1601 7043240 KA 0413 (The first two digits are hard to read.)
As most of you know, I have built 100’s of Qjets. To set up these carbs properly, I would need to know cubic inches, compression ratio, cam specs, head work, intake manifold, ignition system, exhaust system, converter, gear ratio, weight of car. Thanks
ok john heres specs 464, 10.5 to 1, SE al. heads flow 330cfm, TA 413 cam, headers, 2.5 full exhaust, 373 posi, 3500 converter, single plane sp1, MSD ignition, 3600 lb. Should be a good stout combo.

I am sure this engine will be running 91-93 octane pump gas. I will do the 71 carb. Be sure to use a 4 hole spacer under the carb, since it will be on a single plane intake. Idle quality and off idle throttle response will be better. PM your cell number.
