Q-jet filter?

I am using an unusual fuel system for my g-body. Its an electric in-tank fuel pump with a return style regulator. Feed and return pressure through the regulator is high but the pressure to the carb is low for the carb.

The pump has a filter on it and there is no in-line filter. The Q-jet filter won't fit with my current fittings. Must I change my line and fitting set up to allow for the Q-jet filter? Or can I just install an inline filter somewhere? Seems to me I read somewhere once that the Q-jet filter is needed for it to function properly. Anybody know?

You don't need the Q-JET filter use and inline filter after the electric pump just make shure that it got enough flow.:3gears:
