Possible barter or trade (preferred), but will list asking price of $275 per board rules (can you tell I would prefer to trade?).
    Monte, Let’s Make a Deal

    1. What I need: A complete ’70 only color of Burnished Saddle bucket seat plastic trim set (shells, side & front trim and headrests, NOT the bucket seats themselves) for a pair bucket seats I am building for a project.

    2. What I have now: A complete set of BLACK bucket seats with all plastic trim pieces with the '70-'72 release button in the seat backs. The plastic is in very good condition. The Driver’s seat trim has a 4-way power with the left lower trim piece trimmed for the power seat switch (hole). The headrests are BLACK and one is fine, the other has a cracked lower left corner about the size of a dime.

    3. Parts I have to work out a possible trade with:
    A. BLACK ’70-’72 (taken from an early build ’70 model) automatic full floor console. The console plastic is in nice condition with the console door and chrome metal transmission gear readings with some light pitting. The console is missing: the ‘BUICK’ gray plastic trim bezel insert, the plastic chrome door trim plate (with woodgrain) and the two little metal retainer clips at the front and back that connect the side metal trim. ($175+ s/h)
    B. A 4-way power bench seat track set (switch, motor, transmission, cables and tracks/pedestals) for ’69-’72 A-body bench seats (possibly ’68). There is some of the original side trim for the seat tracks present and it is a goldish-green color. It is bench tested. ($175 + s/h)
    C. '71 Steering Column with Tilt (column shift) - Sandalwood (?) beige color. ($100 + s/h)
    D. OEM Rear stabilizer bar for '68-'72 (maybe earlier) A-bodies. ($100 + s/h)

    4. Note: The Burnished Saddle plastic trim for the bucket seats that I am looking for does not have to be from a power seat car/unit, just that the black seat trim set I have now will have the little holes for the power seat control switch in an eventual trade…

    5. I can post pics, but am really first trying to see if there is anyone out there with the Dark Brown seat trim pieces … willing to make some kind of deal with me. The only other option I have is to try to dye the repro plastic door trim pieces.

    Thanks for looking.

Ken, you can paint those with good success. I have done it several times. 70 bucket seats were burnished saddle. 71 was dark saddle. There is quite a difference.

Neil: I will sell the power bench setup (bench tested; without the bench seat), but I need the bucket seats (that have the power bucket seat setup) for a project car.

Dave, PM sent. I have had mixed results with the dye ... that is why I was trying to find someone who might like to trade & work a deal.

    Ken,

I am interested in the power bench seat setup if it is still available. I do not have anything to trade that you listed, but have a lot of other NOS and used parts if we can work out another trade. Thanks.
