Striker latch for 70-72 pushbutton console! I am looking for a late 70-72 striker latch that the door hook latches onto. This is for the pushbutton center console for between the front bucket seats. This piece is on the inside of the console, and just screws in on the front side of the storage compartment, any help with this is greatly appreciated. Here are some pics of what I am talking about, you can see the holes the screws go into for the striker. Don't pay any attention to the black circle on the top. Oh ya and the cat food is not mine, I already ate.
Console striker It`s an easy fix. If you can get into a wrecking yard with older cars and trucks, check out the glove boxes. Some have a similar lach which will work. I have done it. They may even have slotted holes for adjustment. Good luck. John
